Amphora is a Registered Excise Dealer and Shipper and is based in converted barns at Rowfold Farm in the centre of Slinfold, West Sussex. We buy our wines direct from producers

and sell them direct to our customers. There are no intermediaries, which means we can deliver superb value to clients as well as fair prices to our producers. We are specialists in wines from the South of France (Languedoc, Roussillon and Provence) because they represent the New World of European wine-making. These regions have not followed the ways of Bordeaux, Burgundy, the Loire, Alsace and the other traditional French Regions. Instead, many of the wine-makers are using techniques and styles typical in the New World, especially Australia and New Zealand. As a result, we offer exciting, interesting wines at fair prices, which compare well with the rest of the world. Taste them at the Crown Inn...

Languedoc is a beautiful and very varied region, with stunning beaches, rolling back-country and majestic mountains. The archaeology is rich and there are typically 300 days of sun each year. Here hillside orleanders look down on vines.
